Essentials You Should Know to Help Make Your Spa Experience Perfect!

Our Spa Staff is comprised of exceptional individuals who have dedicated their lives to promoting the well being of others. In order to ensure the delight of our essential Guests while protecting the integrity of our highly skilled Therapists, we ask that the following rules of Spa Etiquette be observed:

Appointments

Please call the spa to make your appointment. We do require a valid credit card at the time of booking to secure your appointment. If you have a preference regarding the gender of your Therapist, please inform the Spa Coordinator at time of booking.

The Spa is open 7 days a week for your convenience:
Monday thru Wednesday: 9am-8pm
Thursday and Friday: 9am-9pm
Saturday: 9am-7pm
Sunday: 9am-6pm

The Spa often experiences high levels of business flow. Therefore, we recommend booking appointments well in advanced, particularly when multiple Guests and/or treatments are involved. We suggest that, once you have chosen the desired date and time, you make your reservation as soon as possible.

If you would like to book a package of treatments, or if you are booking for a group of individuals, please know that we are able to assist you with these arrangements up to three months in advance.

Arrival Time

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. A late arrival will deprive you of treatment time since we end all appointments on time to respect the next scheduled guests.

Cancellations & No Shows

Please honor our 24-hour advance notice cancellation policy for single treatments. Spa packages and group reservations require 48 hours notice. Late cancellations or failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the services or package price. Note: All Skin Deep Packages require 48-hour notice.

Consultations

Consultations on our services or products are available over the phone or in the spa, at no charge of course.

Special Events/ Private Parties

You may book your spa parties or special events with our Spa Event Coordinator who will be delighted to arrange treatment packages specific for your group's needs, including catering, flowers, or other special requests that you may have. A 20% Gratuity will be added automatically to the bill for private parties conducted at Skin Deep. To book group reservations, please contact owner us the Spa at 714/841-3313 or emailing us.

Required Deposit for Group Reservations

50% of Total Cost for all Treatments
(Deposit may be paid by credit card or by Skin Deep Gift Certificate)

Cancellation Fee and time cut-off (per Individual Group Membership*):
  • 3 Days for Group of 3-4
  • 4 Days for Group of 5-7
  • 5 Days for Group of 8-12

If appointments are not cancelled or rescheduled according to the above specifications, the 50% Cancellation Fee will be apply for any and all services involved.

Attire

For multiple spa treatments (not waxing services) – spa robes, wraps and slippers are generally provided. During treatment, your body will be draped at all times, except for the area being treated. Lockers are available for storage of your personal items.

Valuables/Lost Articles

We recommend that you leave your more valuable items at home. Although lockers are provided for our Spa Guests, we are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. We ask that you please keep track of your personal belongings during you visit.

Cellular Phones

Please turn off your cell phones and/or pagers. The Spa is an oasis of peace and tranquility. For your convenience, there is a phone available at the Front Desk. Our Staff will gladly take messages while you enjoy your treatment undisturbed.

Quiet, Please

Please be mindful of other Guests' space. While you are certainly welcome to engage in quiet conversation, please reframe from loud talking. Our facility is a place where many Guests savor a much-needed private moment to read, meditate, or simply to relax.

Children

We love kids, but - the Spa is a place where Moms and Dads come to rest and recharge their batteries. So please, make babysitting arrangements in advance; then come and enjoy the Spa without your little ones. You'll be refreshed and rejuvenated when next you see them!

Right of Refusal

Skin Deep reserves the right to refuse service to any client for improper conduct. Inappropriate conduct or language during a service will result in immediate termination of the service. We reserve the right to define inappropriate conduct or language.

Contraindications to Treatment

Contraindications to Spa Treatment include, but are not limited to: pregnancy, high blood pressure, infectious skin disease, epilepsy, asthma, and use of excessive or daily medication. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, it is imperative that you inform the Spa Coordinator at time of booking and your Therapist prior to treatment.

Helpful Hints

Please note that it is advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol or a large meal prior to any spa treatment.

Gratuities

The customary gratuity for all spa services is between 18% and 20%. The listed prices for the Spa Gift Packages include a 18% gratuity. All other treatment prices do not include gratuity. Please tip your therapist as you see fit.

Returns

We will graciously accept returned Facial Care Products; within 30 days of the date of purchase and accompanied by the original receipt; for refund of the purchase price. After 30 days, only a credit for merchandise will be issued. Please note that essential oils, bath products, candles and gift items are not returnable. However, if unopened an returned within 30 days with the original receipt, they may be exchanged for a merchandise credit of equal value.

Returned Checks

We graciously accept checks for payment, however, a $25 fee will be assessed for any returned checks. Unfortunately out of state checks are no longer accepted.
